- I earned a BFA at Syracuse University and spent a year studying abroad in Florence, Italy. I am now a sailmaker and artist in Annapolis, MD. I race and cruise my three sailboats on the weekends. I enjoy painting landscapes, especially around the Chesapeake Bay. Often I will paint a watercolor sketch on site and then paint a finished oil from it in the studio. I have also been working on pet portraits, still lifes, and figure drawings lately. I also post photos of boat projects, sailing, traveling, and my life on this blog.

This photograph looks way darker on your blog than it did on my monitor at home... hmm. Maybe it's just the monitor I'm viewing your blog on currently. Oh hell, I don't know. Ha! The sketch is beautiful regardless. I'm looking forward to seeing more of them!
