I painted this watercolor while sunbathing on Orient Beach, St. Martin. I'll post a good scanned image of this painting, and my other watercolors, soon. I painted them on my recent trip to St. Martin and Anguilla.

- I earned a BFA at Syracuse University and spent a year studying abroad in Florence, Italy. I am now a sailmaker and artist in Annapolis, MD. I race and cruise my three sailboats on the weekends. I enjoy painting landscapes, especially around the Chesapeake Bay. Often I will paint a watercolor sketch on site and then paint a finished oil from it in the studio. I have also been working on pet portraits, still lifes, and figure drawings lately. I also post photos of boat projects, sailing, traveling, and my life on this blog.
