I'm still anchored here on the Wye. I've head thunder from all around and seen a bunch of ominous black clouds, but so far (fingers crossed) most of the weather except for some showers has missed me. Since I've gotten here, I've read an issue of Eating Well magazine, read The Happy Minimalist by Peter Lawrence, and read about 3/4 of Michael Pollen's new book, Cooked. I've also barbecued a lot of shrimp! I'm impressed by the dry ice, I put it in the cooler with the frozen shrimp on Friday, and most of the shrimp was still frozen Saturday night, and reasonably cool this evening. I've taken Morgaine out for a couple of short rows, as well.

I got up at 5 am this morning and went through the Spa Creek Bridge at 7. Here's a picture of dawn in Eastport. I motored for an hour and a half until the wind came up and then I had a pleasant sail to the East Wye River. I'm anchored in a lovely little cove for the night with no sign of thunderstorms yet.
