Yeah, I don't know how it happened, but this painting just turned out really well:) I guess it's just like when I used to shoot film photographs -- I'd shoot a roll of 36 negatives and one of them would turn out successfully:) Obrigado Antonio!
I earned a BFA at Syracuse University and spent a year studying abroad in Florence, Italy. I am now a sailmaker and artist in Annapolis, MD. I race and cruise my three sailboats on the weekends. I enjoy painting landscapes, especially around the Chesapeake Bay. Often I will paint a watercolor sketch on site and then paint a finished oil from it in the studio. I have also been working on pet portraits, still lifes, and figure drawings lately. I also post photos of boat projects, sailing, traveling, and my life on this blog.
