I started painting this around lunchtime one day in Marigot, St. Martin, but had to stop working on it when the rain started.

- I earned a BFA at Syracuse University and spent a year studying abroad in Florence, Italy. I am now a sailmaker and artist in Annapolis, MD. I race and cruise my three sailboats on the weekends. I enjoy painting landscapes, especially around the Chesapeake Bay. Often I will paint a watercolor sketch on site and then paint a finished oil from it in the studio. Hey, these scans look great! I think boosting the contrast helps them read better. Let's keep that in mind... -Jennifer
