These are the first four attempts at wedding placecards for my sister's wedding. As it's an autumn wedding, the aim is for a "leaf" theme. They are painted on watercolor paper with watercolor paint and what passes for "India Ink" for calligraphy pens these days. The first four images are the whole 5" by 5" unfolded card, the last one is what the front will look like once the card is folded and standing up on the table. I'm waiting for the opinion of the bride as to whether these are good enough to use... And my scanner, apparently, does not "see" the same colors as I do!
