I'm starting to think that this might be the most interesting way to approach these still lifes- so close up that the image is cropped.7 1/2" by 11"

- I earned a BFA at Syracuse University and spent a year studying abroad in Florence, Italy. I am now a sailmaker and artist in Annapolis, MD. I race and cruise my three sailboats on the weekends. I enjoy painting landscapes, especially around the Chesapeake Bay. Often I will paint a watercolor sketch on site and then paint a finished oil from it in the studio. I really love close cropped still life paintings. The cobalt blue behind your tomatoes really makes them pop. Nice!
