- I earned a BFA at Syracuse University and spent a year studying abroad in Florence, Italy. I am now a sailmaker and artist in Annapolis, MD. I race and cruise my three sailboats on the weekends. I enjoy painting landscapes, especially around the Chesapeake Bay. Often I will paint a watercolor sketch on site and then paint a finished oil from it in the studio. I'm really glad that you like this painting, Antonio. It's one of my favorites, I think I got the color more intense than I did in some of my other watercolors.
This is might be my favorite also. The colors are darker...funy I don't remember any blue sky that evening!;)
Notice, it was only a partial blue sky-- half grey clouds. And I like this one, too!
